A Kaufland returns address inside the EU,
for sellers based outside it
Kaufland Global Marketplace sells in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia — and its registration page is plain: the returns address must be inside the EU. We give you that address at our warehouses in Germany, Spain, Italy, France or the Czech Republic, photograph every return, and send your stock home consolidated, in boxes or on a pallet.

Kaufland opens nine markets to you, as long as returns stay in the EU.
No EU address, no registration
Non-EU sellers are welcome on Kaufland, with VAT registration per country and an EU responsible person for CE products. But the returns address has to be inside the EU — there is no way around it.
Free returns above €40 are on you
Kaufland's seller terms make free return shipping mandatory for orders over €40. Paid per parcel across borders, that cost decides whether a market is profitable.
Automatic labels only reach Germany
Kaufland's automatic DPD return labels, capped at €5, are currently only supported to addresses in Germany. Without a German address, you handle every return label yourself.

What Kaufland asks of a seller based outside the EU
Kaufland Global Marketplace lists its requirements for non-EU sellers on its registration page. There are four: a VAT registration in each country you sell in, an EU responsible person for CE-certified products made outside the EU, proof of importing goods under a DDP label, and a returns address inside the EU.
The returns rules sit in the Seller University. The default return period is 14 days, adjustable per marketplace, and free return shipping is mandatory above €40. Kaufland can generate DPD return labels automatically, with a price cap of €5, but only to addresses in Germany. Hazardous goods are excluded from automatic labels.
| Requirement | What Kaufland's pages say |
|---|---|
| Returns address | Must be inside the EU |
| VAT | Country-specific registration and VAT ID per sales channel |
| Product safety | EU responsible person for CE-certified products made outside the EU |
| Import | Proof of import with a DDP label |
| Return period | 14 days by default, adjustable per marketplace |
| Free returns | Mandatory for orders over €40 |
| Automatic DPD labels | Only to addresses in Germany; max €5 per label |

Germany for the labels, the rest for your markets
For most sellers, the German address is the one to start with. It is where Kaufland's automatic DPD labels work, so customers in every storefront get a label without you issuing one. If most of your Kaufland sales are in Spain or Italy, a local address there keeps returns domestic for those customers instead.
Whichever you choose, each return is checked in and photographed on arrival, with contents and visible damage verified. Returns wait in storage — free days by plan, then a daily fee — while volume builds.
Then they travel home together. Returns received in Germany, Spain, Italy, France and the Czech Republic can be combined before export, because there are no customs between EU countries. One export, as boxes or a pallet, with a commercial invoice and packing list.
- German address: Kaufland's automatic DPD return labels (max €5) work
- Spanish, Italian, French or Czech address: domestic returns for those storefronts
- Check-in photos of every return, one panel for all storefronts
- EU returns combined before export, home as boxes or a pallet
What we do with your returns, and what we do not
Being precise about the boundary is more useful than a list of promises. We give you an address at our warehouse in the country where your customers return, and every parcel that arrives is checked in and photographed. That check covers what you need first: does the content match what you sold, and is there visible damage. An in-depth inspection is available when you want it, as an optional service with its own fee.
The returns then wait for you. Each plan includes free storage days; the official limit is 30 days, after which a daily fee applies, and it can be extended case by case.
When you decide, we consolidate and repack — optional services, priced per plan — and ship them to your warehouse as boxes or a pallet, with the commercial invoice and packing list the business shipment needs. We can also prepare goods to go back into an Amazon fulfilment centre, or destroy them securely.
What we are not: the seller of record, a liquidator, or your customs broker at origin. The refund decision and the conversation with your customer stay in your Seller Central, with our photos as evidence. We do not quote transit times we cannot control, and we do not tell you a return will re-enter your country free of duty.
- A local address in the country where your customers return — Spain, Italy and eight more countries
- Every parcel checked in and photographed; contents and visible damage verified
- In-depth inspection, consolidation, repacking, extended storage and secure destruction: optional, priced per plan
- Free storage days by plan; official limit 30 days, then a daily fee, extendable case by case
- Back to your warehouse as boxes or a pallet, with commercial invoice and packing list
- Not: seller of record, liquidator, customs broker at origin — and no transit-time promises
We declare the real value and prepare the paperwork.
Accurate invoices and customs data, so your parcel is presented as cleanly as it can be.

Thousands of global shoppers trust Resendify
From fashion to car parts, from luxury to electronics — global shoppers use Resendify to buy from Europe without limits.
“Finally a service that actually works for buying from Spanish stores. I ordered from Zara España, MANGO and El Corte Inglés in the same week — everything arrived consolidated in one box. Shipping to LA was way cheaper than I expected.”
“I bought a MediaMarkt laptop that wasn't available in Canada at that price. The process was seamless — got my European address, placed the order, and Resendify handled everything from there. Will definitely use again.”
“Been sourcing European car parts for years. Resendify is the best forwarding service I've used for Europe-to-India shipments. The consolidation feature saved me hundreds on a single order.”
“Bought from a French boutique that doesn't ship to Australia. Got my Resendify address in minutes, placed the order, and it was on my doorstep in Sydney two weeks later. Exactly as advertised.”
“I source from 4–5 European suppliers every month. Resendify consolidates everything before it hits the US, which cuts my per-unit shipping cost significantly. The quote tool is accurate and the team is responsive.”
“Found a Zalando deal that was EU-only. Used Resendify, got the item shipped to Dubai without any issues. The customs documentation was all handled — that's the part I usually dread.”
Kaufland returns address: what sellers ask
Kaufland sets the return address per sales channel in Returns Settings, and requires it to be inside the EU. One EU address can serve several storefronts. If you want Kaufland's automatic DPD return labels, that address has to be in Germany, where we receive.
No. Kaufland asks non-EU sellers for both, separately: an EU responsible person for CE-marked products made outside the EU, and a returns address inside the EU. We provide the returns address, not the responsible-person role.
The default is 14 days, adjustable per marketplace in Returns Settings, and free return shipping is mandatory for orders over €40 under Kaufland's seller terms. Check your own settings in the Seller Portal.
Not for customer returns: with FBA, Amazon takes them back into its own fulfilment centres. You need an address for what Amazon sends out — removal orders of unsellable, aged or excess stock. Amazon's European removal fees are built around European addresses, so a seller whose warehouse is outside Europe needs one here. Merchant-fulfilled (FBM) sellers need both: returns come straight to the seller.
We do not publish a single returns rate card, because the cost depends on how many parcels you receive, how long they wait and where they go back to. The pieces are the plan, the optional services you use (inspection, consolidation, repacking, extended storage, destruction) and the outbound shipment, which you can price in the calculator on this page. Recurring volume goes on the Business plan, which is quote-based: send the form and a person replies.
It is received anyway. Parcels that arrive without being created in your panel are booked in manually by our team, with a small surcharge. The cheap way is to create the expected return in advance — the tracking number from the marketplace's return request is enough.
No. We prepare the export side — consolidated shipment, commercial invoice, packing list, real weights and dimensions — and the import in your country is done by you or your customs broker. Each origin page on this site explains the returned-goods rule of that country, dated and with its official source, but the claim is yours to make.
