Weekday sizing: denim in inches, everything else in EU
Weekday makes sizing unusually friendly for Americans — at least on denim. Jeans are sized in waist and inseam inches, exactly like US brands: a W28/L32 on weekday.com means what it means at home, so order your usual measurements with zero conversion.
Everything else on the platform uses standard EU sizing, and the house cuts help you here too: the loose, straight and relaxed fits that define the brand are designed roomy and run true to size, so resist the urge to size up on anything described as loose or oversized — the slouch is the point.

US customs & import duty (EU → USA), explained
Here is the honest version most forwarders won't tell you. The old US$800 "de minimis" exemption that let small parcels enter the United States duty-free was suspended on 29 August 2025, and the suspension applies to EU shipments too. That exemption no longer exists: US import duty can now apply to your order from the very first dollar, with no value threshold below which clothing arrives free.
The upside for your budget is that the US has no federal VAT or GST, so at the border you face customs duty only — not a value-added tax. Any state sales or use tax is your own obligation and is never collected by the courier.
One more number to plan around: your your EU store prices already include Spain's 21% VAT, and shipping through a forwarder to an EU address does not let a private shopper reclaim that VAT (a tourist refund needs a personal export with a customs stamp, which a forwarder can't do). So budget against the .es sticker price, not a tax-free one.
The one figure we deliberately won't pin down is the exact duty rate, because in 2026 it is genuinely in flux. An IEEPA-based tariff framework was struck down in February 2026, and a temporary Section 122 surcharge now sits on top of the normal HTS apparel rates — so any single "X% on clothes" number you read online is probably already stale.

VAT and US duty on a Weekday order: the honest math
Two taxes touch this route and neither one is optional, so here is the straight version. First, the euro price you pay at weekday.com already includes European VAT, and that VAT stays inside the price when we forward your parcel — forwarding to the US does not refund it, and nobody doing it this way can.
The tourist tax-free scheme only applies when you personally carry goods out of the EU through airport customs, so any forwarder promising a VAT refund is misleading you. Second, the US side: on 29 August 2025 the $800 de minimis exemption was eliminated, so parcels entering the US are assessed for import duty regardless of value.
How much depends on the product and on rules that have kept changing through 2025–2026, which is exactly why we refuse to print a fixed percentage here. What we do instead: before you approve the international leg, we estimate the duty for your actual items, so the figure you decide on is a realistic all-in number rather than a store price with a mystery appended at the border.
The honest pitch of this route is access, not tax avoidance: Weekday simply does not sell to the US, and this is the way in.

Does Weekday ship to the USA? No — here's the route that works
Ask the checkout and you'll get the answer fast: weekday.com delivers from its Tilburg (Netherlands) hub to roughly 82 markets — most of Europe, the UK, even Canada — but a US shipping address is rejected at checkout. There is no US storefront and no announced plan for one.

Weekday returns from the US: 30 days on paper, near-final in practice
Weekday's own policy is reasonable: 30 days to return, a small return fee deducted from the refund (£2.90 in the UK, as a reference — the fee varies by market), and the refund processed within 14 days. The catch is geography: that policy assumes you're inside a delivery market.
Once your parcel has crossed the Atlantic, sending an item back means international postage at your own expense plus the transatlantic delay — slow and costly enough that you should treat everything you forward as close to final. That's why the warehouse step matters on this route.
