The pieces worth forwarding are the ones Arket is genuinely known for: the Merino wool knitwear line (fine-knit V-necks, roll-necks and cardigans), crisp cotton-poplin shirts, organic-cotton T-shirts, wool-blend tailored coats, and the trainers Arket curates itself — Veja and New Balance.

Prices are in source-market euros rather than inflated US reseller tickets: a cotton-poplin shirt runs about €69 at source, where the same staple on a US reseller like ASOS US tends to appear only intermittently and at a marked-up or full-price ticket — and you get sizes and colours that never cross the Atlantic.

One honest note: Arket's EU prices already include local VAT (about 21% in the Netherlands, where orders ship from), and forwarding does not strip that out — so budget against the euro sticker as shown.

Arket's primary scale is EU sizing, and most apparel fits true to size but is cut with a deliberate relaxed, breezy looseness — jackets and coats run looser still, so size down one for a tailored feel. A simple rule converts the labels: US = EU − 30 and UK = US + 4, so EU38 is roughly US6 / UK10.

On paper Arket is generous: EU law gives a 14-day right of withdrawal plus an extra 14 days (28 days total), with a return cost of around €5–€6 deducted in many EU countries using the pre-printed label and a local drop-off point. But that whole system assumes a European return address and a European drop-off — there is no Arket return path from the United States.

Once a parcel has been forwarded to the US, sending it back means self-funding international return shipping to Arket's warehouse in Tilburg, Netherlands (often uneconomic for the item's value) or routing it back through the forwarder before the window closes.
