The German address costs nothing, handling is €3.85 for a parcel up to 2 kg (€5.05 up to 5 kg), and free storage runs to 60 days on light packages — that is one of the most generous storage windows in the sector and cheaper per-parcel handling than most of us charge. If every single thing you buy is German and you want the lowest possible handling line, they are a serious answer. The ceiling is structural and they state it themselves: Mailboxde accepts parcels from EU countries only, and explicitly not from the USA or outside the EU. So the moment your cart includes a US, Chinese, Hong Kong or Turkish store, there is no address they can give you. Resendify receives in ten countries — Germany included — and can consolidate a German order together with an American one into a single shipment.

And free storage runs to 60 days for packages up to 5 kg, which is longer than most of the sector offers. If your buying is entirely German and you want the lowest handling line, that is a strong package.
No. Their own FAQ states they accept parcels from EU countries only, and explicitly not from the USA or from other countries outside the EU. That is the structural limit of the service, not a criticism of it. Resendify receives in the United States — in Delaware, a state with no sales tax — alongside Germany and eight other countries.

The difference that matters is scope — theirs consolidates German and EU parcels, ours can combine a German order with a US, Chinese or Turkish one on the Premium tier.

No. Import duty and VAT are set by your destination country and normally billed on arrival by the carrier. Note too that inside the EU the €150 duty allowance is gone: Regulation (EU) 2026/382 replaced it from 1 July 2026 with a fixed €3 per article in the IOSS and designated-postal lane, until 1 July 2028.
