Buy from Zalando and ship to Colombia
Europe's largest fashion platform — and a strictly European one. Get a free German address, order as a local customer would, combine several orders into one shipment, and we forward it to Colombia.

Why Colombians cannot order from Zalando directly
Zalando has no market on your continent
Zalando operates around thirty markets and all of them are European. There is no local site, no local checkout and no delivery option to your country — the platform simply does not sell where you live.
The brands are not distributed locally either
A large part of the Zalando catalogue never reaches local retail, and what does arrive tends to come in a narrower assortment, later in the season, at a price set by an importer rather than by Zalando.
The return address is European
You are buying from a European shop, so anything you send back goes back to Europe. That is easy while the parcel is still at our warehouse and expensive once it has crossed an ocean — which is why sizing matters more here than at home.

How to buy on Zalando from outside Europe
Zalando is the biggest fashion platform in Europe: north of a thousand brands, from Adidas and Levi's to labels that have no distribution at all on your side of the Atlantic. It is also, deliberately, a European business. Zalando runs about thirty markets and every one of them is in Europe — there is no Brazilian, Mexican, Chilean or Colombian Zalando, and no checkout that will accept your address. That is the whole reason this page exists.
The workflow is unglamorous and it works. Open a free Resendify account, take your German receiving address, and shop zalando.de exactly as a customer in Berlin would. Enter the address at checkout, let Zalando deliver domestically — which is the cheap, fast leg of the journey — and tell us where to forward it. While your parcels sit at the warehouse you can keep ordering: every membership includes free storage days, and everything leaves as one shipment.
One thing is worth planning around before you fill a basket: returns. You are buying from a European shop, so the return address is European — which means a return is easy while the parcel is still with us and slow and expensive once it has crossed an ocean.
Buy as if it were final, use the EU size charts rather than converting twice, and when you are between sizes, order both and send one back *before* we forward the parcel. That is the one moment when returning costs you almost nothing.
For Colombia, the US$50 and US$200 thresholds should shape how you group your orders. A single large consolidated Zalando shipment is cheaper on freight but sits in a different band than two smaller ones. Tell us what you are planning and we will lay out both options with numbers before you buy.
- European brands with no local distribution — the reason most people start
- Zalando's own labels, sold through its own platform rather than through local retail
- End-of-season sales and Black Friday at euro prices, not local retail
- Prices in euros, on a site built for the European market
- Order two sizes and return one before we forward — returns after that are slow
What the DIAN actually charges on a parcel to Colombia (2026)
Two numbers decide what a parcel pays in Colombia, and most guides mix them up. The DIAN's own page for tráfico postal y envíos urgentes puts the tributos aduaneros at a 10% customs duty on the FOB value — freight and insurance included — plus 19% IVA. Everything after that is exemptions on top.
On duty, the DIAN states that a shipment whose FOB value is US$200 or less does not pay the customs duty. On IVA there are two separate reliefs, and the first is the one that matters for a European purchase: the DIAN states that these shipments do not pay IVA when they come from countries with a free-trade agreement with Colombia and have no commercial purpose.
Colombia's agreement with the European Union has been in force since 2013 and its agreement with the United States since 2012; it has no such agreement with China or Turkey. Note that what counts is where the goods originate, not where you happened to buy them.
The second relief is temporary: Decreto Legislativo 1474 of 19 December 2025 excludes IVA on shipments worth no more than US$50, and the DIAN has confirmed that this one runs only from 1 January to 31 December 2026. That is what replaced the US$200 IVA figure people still repeat.
What none of this settles is your particular parcel. Whether a shipment counts as non-commercial, and whether its origin is evidenced to the satisfaction of the officer clearing it, is decided at clearance and not before. Read the rules above as the framework, check them against the DIAN page linked below before a large purchase, and be sceptical of anyone who guarantees you an exact final figure.
| Item | What the DIAN states (2026) |
|---|---|
| Customs duty, general rule | 10% of the FOB value, freight and insurance included |
| IVA, general rule | 19% |
| FOB of US$200 or less | Does not pay customs duty |
| Goods originating in an FTA country, no commercial purpose | Do not pay IVA — the EU and the USA have agreements; China and Turkey do not |
| Up to US$50 during 2026 | IVA excluded — Decreto Legislativo 1474/2025, art. 3 |
| The old US$200 IVA figure | Replaced by the US$50 exclusion, and only for 2026 |
Last updated: September 2026. Informational only — not customs or tax advice. The US$50 IVA exclusion is written for the 2026 calendar year, and the relief for shipments from FTA countries depends on the shipment having no commercial purpose and on origin being evidenced at clearance. Confirm with the DIAN before committing to an order. Source: DIAN — Tráfico postal y envíos urgentes.

“I bought a MediaMarkt laptop that wasn't available in Canada at that price. The process was seamless — got my European address, placed the order, and Resendify handled everything from there. Will definitely use again.”
“Been sourcing European car parts for years. Resendify is the best forwarding service I've used for Europe-to-India shipments. The consolidation feature saved me hundreds on a single order.”
“Bought from a French boutique that doesn't ship to Australia. Got my Resendify address in minutes, placed the order, and it was on my doorstep in Sydney two weeks later. Exactly as advertised.”
“I source from 4–5 European suppliers every month. Resendify consolidates everything before it hits the US, which cuts my per-unit shipping cost significantly. The quote tool is accurate and the team is responsive.”
“Found a Zalando deal that was EU-only. Used Resendify, got the item shipped to Dubai without any issues. The customs documentation was all handled — that's the part I usually dread.”
Buying from Zalando and shipping to Colombia
No. Zalando operates around thirty markets and every one of them is in Europe, so there is no delivery option to Colombia. You can still buy there with a receiving address in the store's own country: we take delivery, hold your parcels while you finish shopping, and forward them to you.
No. Zalando operates roughly thirty markets and every one of them is in Europe, so there is no delivery option to Latin America at checkout. A German receiving address is what puts you inside Zalando's own delivery area.
zalando.de, because delivery on each Zalando country site is domestic within that market and the address we give you is German. The country sites share much of the assortment but not all of it, so buy on the one that matches your address.
Yes, while the parcel is still with us in Europe: that return is domestic and simple. Once we have forwarded it to you, sending it back across an ocean is slow and usually costs more than it recovers, so treat forwarded orders as final.
That is the point of consolidating. Send Zalando, About You and anything else to the same warehouse address, and we forward the lot as a single shipment so you pay international freight once.
US$200 is still the duty threshold: the DIAN states that a shipment with an FOB value of US$200 or less does not pay the 10% customs duty. What moved is the IVA side — Decreto Legislativo 1474 of December 2025 set the IVA exclusion at US$50, and the DIAN has confirmed it applies only during the 2026 calendar year.
It depends on the values. Consolidating is almost always cheaper on freight, but it raises the FOB value of a single shipment, which is exactly what the US$200 duty threshold looks at. Ask us before you buy and we will price both options so you can compare them.
The DIAN's IVA relief for shipments from FTA countries is written for shipments with no commercial purpose. If you are importing to resell, that is a formal import with its own requirements — talk to us and to a customs agent before ordering, not after the goods are in the air.
