Buy from Costco and ship to Colombia
The US warehouse club, delivering inside the United States. Get a free US address, order as a local customer would, combine several orders into one shipment, and we forward it to Colombia.

Why Colombians cannot order from Costco directly
Costco's terms exclude forwarding addresses
Its policy states it cannot deliver to freight forwarders or mail-drop locations, nor to international addresses. We give you the address and the facts; using it for a Costco order is your decision and your risk, including the order being cancelled.
costco.com serves the United States
There is no international delivery option at checkout. Canada is served by a separate site, costco.ca, and other countries by their own local Costco operations where they exist.
Warehouse-club sizes are the wrong shape to fly
Bulk packaging is the whole point of the format and the exact opposite of what air freight rewards. The items worth forwarding are the small, dense, expensive ones.

Costco from abroad: read this part before the deals
Costco is the American warehouse club, and its appeal from abroad is specific: Kirkland Signature. The house brand covers everything from nuts and coffee to clothing, batteries, tyres and supplements, it is priced against national brands rather than as a budget line, and it has no export route at all. There is no importer bringing Kirkland to your country.
Now the part we are not going to bury. **Costco's own policy states that it cannot deliver to freight forwarders or mail-drop locations, nor to international addresses.** costco.com serves the United States; Canada is served by costco.ca. That is not a technicality we can work around, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
We can give you a real US receiving address and forward whatever arrives at it — but placing a Costco order to it is your decision, it goes against the retailer's stated terms, and the risk that follows, including an order being cancelled, sits with you. We would rather you read that here than discover it after paying.
If you decide to go ahead anyway, be sensible about what: dense, light, high-value items — supplements and vitamins, coffee, small electronics, clothing, batteries — and nothing perishable, nothing that needs a cold chain, and nothing built around 120 V and 60 Hz. Bulk food in warehouse-club sizes is the classic mistake: it is heavy, it is cheap per kilo, and once it has flown it is no longer a bargain.
And if the Costco terms are a dealbreaker for you — which is a completely reasonable conclusion — Target, Amazon.com and the rest of our US shops are still there, and the same address works for all of them.
For Colombia, the DIAN's VAT relief covers goods originating in a country with a free-trade agreement and shipments with no commercial purpose, and the US–Colombia agreement dates from 2012. Origin means where the goods were made, and qualification is decided at clearance.
- Kirkland Signature — the reason to look, and it has no export route
- Supplements, vitamins and coffee: dense, light, high value per kilo
- ⚠️ Costco's policy states it does not deliver to freight forwarders or international addresses
- ⚠️ Using a forwarding address for a Costco order is your decision, and your risk
- ⚠️ Warehouse-club bulk food is heavy and cheap per kilo — the worst thing to fly
- ⚠️ Anything with a US plug is 120 V / 60 Hz
- Nothing perishable and nothing needing a cold chain
What the DIAN actually charges on a parcel to Colombia (2026)
Two numbers decide what a parcel pays in Colombia, and most guides mix them up. The DIAN's own page for tráfico postal y envíos urgentes puts the tributos aduaneros at a 10% customs duty on the FOB value — freight and insurance included — plus 19% IVA. Everything after that is exemptions on top.
On duty, the DIAN states that a shipment whose FOB value is US$200 or less does not pay the customs duty. On IVA there are two separate reliefs, and the first is the one that matters for a European purchase: the DIAN states that these shipments do not pay IVA when they come from countries with a free-trade agreement with Colombia and have no commercial purpose.
Colombia's agreement with the European Union has been in force since 2013 and its agreement with the United States since 2012; it has no such agreement with China or Turkey. Note that what counts is where the goods originate, not where you happened to buy them.
The second relief is temporary: Decreto Legislativo 1474 of 19 December 2025 excludes IVA on shipments worth no more than US$50, and the DIAN has confirmed that this one runs only from 1 January to 31 December 2026. That is what replaced the US$200 IVA figure people still repeat.
What none of this settles is your particular parcel. Whether a shipment counts as non-commercial, and whether its origin is evidenced to the satisfaction of the officer clearing it, is decided at clearance and not before. Read the rules above as the framework, check them against the DIAN page linked below before a large purchase, and be sceptical of anyone who guarantees you an exact final figure.
| Item | What the DIAN states (2026) |
|---|---|
| Customs duty, general rule | 10% of the FOB value, freight and insurance included |
| IVA, general rule | 19% |
| FOB of US$200 or less | Does not pay customs duty |
| Goods originating in an FTA country, no commercial purpose | Do not pay IVA — the EU and the USA have agreements; China and Turkey do not |
| Up to US$50 during 2026 | IVA excluded — Decreto Legislativo 1474/2025, art. 3 |
| The old US$200 IVA figure | Replaced by the US$50 exclusion, and only for 2026 |
Last updated: September 2026. Informational only — not customs or tax advice. The US$50 IVA exclusion is written for the 2026 calendar year, and the relief for shipments from FTA countries depends on the shipment having no commercial purpose and on origin being evidenced at clearance. “I bought a MediaMarkt laptop that wasn't available in Canada at that price. The process was seamless — got my European address, placed the order, and Resendify handled everything from there. Will definitely use again.”
“Been sourcing European car parts for years. Resendify is the best forwarding service I've used for Europe-to-India shipments. The consolidation feature saved me hundreds on a single order.”
“Bought from a French boutique that doesn't ship to Australia. Got my Resendify address in minutes, placed the order, and it was on my doorstep in Sydney two weeks later. Exactly as advertised.”

“Found a Zalando deal that was EU-only. Used Resendify, got the item shipped to Dubai without any issues. The customs documentation was all handled — that's the part I usually dread.”
Buying from Costco and shipping to Colombia
No. Costco's policy states it cannot deliver to freight forwarders, mail-drop locations or international addresses, so it does not deliver to Colombia. You can still buy there with a receiving address in the store's own country: we take delivery, hold your parcels while you finish shopping, and forward them to you.
Its own policy says no: Costco states it cannot deliver to freight forwarders or mail-drop locations, nor to international addresses. We can give you a real US receiving address and forward what arrives, but placing a Costco order to it goes against the retailer's stated terms. That decision is yours, and so is the risk — including the order being cancelled. We would rather say it plainly.
Kirkland Signature supplements and vitamins, coffee, small electronics, clothing and batteries — dense, light and high in value per kilo. Not bulk food, not anything perishable, and nothing built for 120 V and 60 Hz.
Yes, and it is a reasonable choice. Target, Walmart, Amazon.com and iHerb cover much of the same ground, and the same US receiving address works for all of them.
Canada is served by costco.ca, a separate site, rather than by costco.com. Other countries are served by their own local Costco operations where those exist.
US$200 is still the duty threshold: the DIAN states that a shipment with an FOB value of US$200 or less does not pay the 10% customs duty. What moved is the IVA side — Decreto Legislativo 1474 of December 2025 set the IVA exclusion at US$50, and the DIAN has confirmed it applies only during the 2026 calendar year.
It depends on the values. Consolidating is almost always cheaper on freight, but it raises the FOB value of a single shipment, which is exactly what the US$200 duty threshold looks at. Ask us before you buy and we will price both options so you can compare them.
The DIAN's IVA relief for shipments from FTA countries is written for shipments with no commercial purpose. If you are importing to resell, that is a formal import with its own requirements — talk to us and to a customs agent before ordering, not after the goods are in the air.
