Mexico's US$50-exempt / 17% / 19% courier bands exist only for goods originating in the T-MEC countries. Buying American-made goods with a US address is the one route that qualifies — and we explain exactly where the catch is.
The widely quoted US$50 exempt / 17% / 19% bands apply to goods originating in the United States and Canada. A parcel of European or Chinese goods meets the general 33.5% global rate instead.
This is the part almost nobody tells you. Buying a Chinese-made gadget from a US store does not make it T-MEC origin. The rule looks at manufacture, not at the checkout.
Home Depot, Costco, Target, Best Buy and REI either block Mexican checkout or price international delivery prohibitively. A US address is the way in.
Send every US order to the same warehouse and forward them as one box, so you pay international freight once instead of once per store.
A real local address at checkout is all that stands between you and that cart.
Resendify gives you a real local address at our warehouses. Shop where the deals are, we collect, repack and forward — you stay in control the whole way.
Pick a warehouse in Spain, Germany, the UK or the US. We assign you a real street address — yours within minutes.
Use your Resendify address at checkout — Amazon DE, Zara, Decathlon, eBay, anywhere. Even sellers that don't ship abroad.
Photos on arrival, optional repacking, and consolidation of multiple orders into one shipment to save up to 70%.
Pick your courier and track door-to-door. Email alerts on every tracking update.
Create your account and your receiving address is ready in minutes.
Almost every guide repeats the same three numbers — US$50 free, then 17%, then 19% — and almost none of them mentions the condition attached: those bands are for goods originating in the T-MEC countries, the United States and Canada. On this route that condition can actually be met, which is what makes buying in the US different from buying in Europe. But it is met by the goods, not by the shipping label.
| Concept | What applies |
|---|---|
| T-MEC bands | US$50 exempt, then 17% / 19% — goods of US or Canadian ORIGIN only |
| General global rate | 33.5% since 15 Aug 2025 (rule 3.7.35 RGCE, shipments under US$2,500) |
| US purchase of non-US-made goods | Not T-MEC origin — falls back to the 33.5% general rate |
| IVA | 16%, applies regardless of value |
| DTA | Fixed customs processing fee per shipment, regardless of value |
| Claiming the preference | A formal-import matter for a customs agent, not something a forwarder can arrange |
| Who charges it | The courier collects at clearance. Resendify documents accurately but never advances taxes |

You declare the contents and values in your customs proforma; our team checks that declaration against what is actually in the box before it ships, which is what keeps a clearance from stalling on a mismatch. That is a narrow promise, and it is the true one.
What we will not do is promise a delivery date or taxes paid upfront. The classification and the regime are decided at the border, by people who do not answer to us. What we can price exactly is the freight — and on that front, consolidation is where the saving lives: several US orders forwarded as one box pay international freight once instead of once per store.

From fashion to car parts, from luxury to electronics — global shoppers use Resendify to buy from Europe without limits.
“Finally a service that actually works for buying from Spanish stores. I ordered from Zara España, MANGO and El Corte Inglés in the same week — everything arrived consolidated in one box. Shipping to LA was way cheaper than I expected.”
“I bought a MediaMarkt laptop that wasn't available in Canada at that price. The process was seamless — got my European address, placed the order, and Resendify handled everything from there. Will definitely use again.”
“Been sourcing European car parts for years. Resendify is the best forwarding service I've used for Europe-to-India shipments. The consolidation feature saved me hundreds on a single order.”
“Bought from a French boutique that doesn't ship to Australia. Got my Resendify address in minutes, placed the order, and it was on my doorstep in Sydney two weeks later. Exactly as advertised.”
“I source from 4–5 European suppliers every month. Resendify consolidates everything before it hits the US, which cuts my per-unit shipping cost significantly. The quote tool is accurate and the team is responsive.”
“Found a Zalando deal that was EU-only. Used Resendify, got the item shipped to Dubai without any issues. The customs documentation was all handled — that's the part I usually dread.”
Only if the goods themselves originate in a T-MEC country — the United States or Canada. That is about where they were manufactured, not where you bought them, so a US purchase of Chinese-made goods does not qualify and meets the general global rate of 33.5% instead. Buying American-made goods from a US store is the case where the bands genuinely apply.
Since 15 August 2025, rule 3.7.35 of the Reglas Generales de Comercio Exterior sets the general global rate for the simplified courier procedure at 33.5% on shipments below US$2,500. It is the default a parcel meets when its goods are not of T-MEC origin — which covers most things bought in Europe, China or Turkey.
Yes. Mexican IVA of 16% applies to imports regardless of value, and there is a fixed DTA customs processing fee per shipment. The de minimis band affects duty, not IVA.
We document your shipment accurately, and you declare contents, values and origin in the customs proforma. But claiming a tariff preference formally is a matter for a customs agent in a formal import, not something a forwarder arranges on your behalf. Nobody can promise you the final figure in advance, because classification and regime are decided at the border. What we price exactly is the freight.
We don't promise dates. The carrier, the service level and customs inspections set the pace. You get the exact freight price before you commit and carrier tracking once it ships.
Yes, and at any US retailer that ships domestically. Orders arrive at the warehouse, we photograph them, and you choose when to consolidate and forward.

Can't register on the store, card rejected, or the seller won't deal with international buyers? Just send us the product link and we'll buy it for you. You choose the item — we pay, receive it at the warehouse and forward it to you.
