A German fashion platform that delivers inside Germany. Get a free German address, order as a local customer would, combine several orders into one shipment, and we forward it to Colombia.
Orders on the German site go to German addresses. About You's other platforms are separate country sites, and none of them serves Latin America.
Much of what makes the catalogue interesting — European brands and About You's own lines — has no importer or shop floor on your side of the Atlantic.
You are buying from a German shop, so a return is a German return. Easy while the parcel is at our warehouse, expensive once it has crossed an ocean.
A real local address at checkout is all that stands between you and that cart.
Resendify gives you a real local address at our warehouses. Shop where the deals are, we collect, repack and forward — you stay in control the whole way.
Pick a warehouse in Spain, Germany, the UK or the US. We assign you a real street address — yours within minutes.
Use your Resendify address at checkout — Amazon DE, Zara, Decathlon, eBay, anywhere. Even sellers that don't ship abroad.
Photos on arrival, optional repacking, and consolidation of multiple orders into one shipment to save up to 70%.
Pick your courier and track door-to-door. Email alerts on every tracking update.

About You is one of the fashion platforms that Germany actually shops on: a large multi-brand catalogue plus its own labels and collaborations, organised around styling rather than around a brand list. Orders placed on aboutyou.de are delivered within Germany. The company runs platforms in other European countries, but those are separate country sites — not shipping destinations for the German one, and none of them is in Latin America.
So the route is the ordinary one: a German receiving address, an order placed the way a customer in Hamburg would place it, and a forwarded parcel. What makes this worth the trouble is the part of the catalogue that never reaches local retail — European labels with no distributor on your side of the Atlantic, and About You's own lines, which exist on its platform rather than on a shop floor near you.
The thing to plan around is fit. Everything here is in EU sizing, and a return goes back to a German address, which is straightforward while the parcel is still with us and expensive once it has flown. Use the EU size chart directly instead of converting twice, and if you are between sizes, order both and return one before you tell us to ship. That is the window where a return costs you almost nothing.
For Colombia, note the US$200 FOB duty threshold in the table below when you decide how much to buy at once. A single large fashion order can cross it where two smaller shipments would not — ask us before you buy and we will price both.
Two numbers decide what a parcel pays in Colombia, and most guides mix them up. The DIAN's own page for tráfico postal y envíos urgentes puts the tributos aduaneros at a 10% customs duty on the FOB value — freight and insurance included — plus 19% IVA. Everything after that is exemptions on top.
On duty, the DIAN states that a shipment whose FOB value is US$200 or less does not pay the customs duty. On IVA there are two separate reliefs, and the first is the one that matters for a European purchase: the DIAN states that these shipments do not pay IVA when they come from countries with a free-trade agreement with Colombia and have no commercial purpose.
Colombia's agreement with the European Union has been in force since 2013 and its agreement with the United States since 2012; it has no such agreement with China or Turkey. Note that what counts is where the goods originate, not where you happened to buy them.
The second relief is temporary: Decreto Legislativo 1474 of 19 December 2025 excludes IVA on shipments worth no more than US$50, and the DIAN has confirmed that this one runs only from 1 January to 31 December 2026. That is what replaced the US$200 IVA figure people still repeat.
What none of this settles is your particular parcel. Whether a shipment counts as non-commercial, and whether its origin is evidenced to the satisfaction of the officer clearing it, is decided at clearance and not before. Read the rules above as the framework, check them against the DIAN page linked below before a large purchase, and be sceptical of anyone who guarantees you an exact final figure.
| Item | What the DIAN states (2026) |
|---|---|
| Customs duty, general rule | 10% of the FOB value, freight and insurance included |
| IVA, general rule | 19% |
| FOB of US$200 or less | Does not pay customs duty |
| Goods originating in an FTA country, no commercial purpose | Do not pay IVA — the EU and the USA have agreements; China and Turkey do not |
| Up to US$50 during 2026 | IVA excluded — Decreto Legislativo 1474/2025, art. 3 |
| The old US$200 IVA figure | Replaced by the US$50 exclusion, and only for 2026 |
Last updated: September 2026. Informational only — not customs or tax advice. The US$50 IVA exclusion is written for the 2026 calendar year, and the relief for shipments from FTA countries depends on the shipment having no commercial purpose and on origin being evidenced at clearance. From fashion to car parts, from luxury to electronics — global shoppers use Resendify to buy from Europe without limits.
“Finally a service that actually works for buying from Spanish stores. I ordered from Zara España, MANGO and El Corte Inglés in the same week — everything arrived consolidated in one box. Shipping to LA was way cheaper than I expected.”
“I bought a MediaMarkt laptop that wasn't available in Canada at that price. The process was seamless — got my European address, placed the order, and Resendify handled everything from there. Will definitely use again.”
“Been sourcing European car parts for years. Resendify is the best forwarding service I've used for Europe-to-India shipments. The consolidation feature saved me hundreds on a single order.”
“Bought from a French boutique that doesn't ship to Australia. Got my Resendify address in minutes, placed the order, and it was on my doorstep in Sydney two weeks later. Exactly as advertised.”
“I source from 4–5 European suppliers every month. Resendify consolidates everything before it hits the US, which cuts my per-unit shipping cost significantly. The quote tool is accurate and the team is responsive.”
“Found a Zalando deal that was EU-only. Used Resendify, got the item shipped to Dubai without any issues. The customs documentation was all handled — that's the part I usually dread.”
No. Orders on aboutyou.de are delivered within Germany, and About You's other platforms are separate country sites, so it does not deliver to Colombia. You can still buy there with a receiving address in the store's own country: we take delivery, hold your parcels while you finish shopping, and forward them to you.
Not from aboutyou.de, which delivers within Germany. The company runs platforms in other European countries, but they are separate country sites and none of them covers Latin America — so a German receiving address is the way in.
Everything on the German site is in EU sizing. Use the EU chart on the product page directly rather than converting through a second system, which is where most sizing mistakes come from.
Easily, while the parcel is still at our German warehouse — that return is domestic. Once we have forwarded it, sending it back across an ocean usually costs more than it recovers.
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to do this. Send About You, Zalando and Otto to the same address, and everything leaves as one shipment so you pay international freight once.
US$200 is still the duty threshold: the DIAN states that a shipment with an FOB value of US$200 or less does not pay the 10% customs duty. What moved is the IVA side — Decreto Legislativo 1474 of December 2025 set the IVA exclusion at US$50, and the DIAN has confirmed it applies only during the 2026 calendar year.
It depends on the values. Consolidating is almost always cheaper on freight, but it raises the FOB value of a single shipment, which is exactly what the US$200 duty threshold looks at. Ask us before you buy and we will price both options so you can compare them.
The DIAN's IVA relief for shipments from FTA countries is written for shipments with no commercial purpose. If you are importing to resell, that is a formal import with its own requirements — talk to us and to a customs agent before ordering, not after the goods are in the air.
