If every single thing you buy is American and you ship once or twice a year, that free account is a real advantage and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Yes — and that answer changed. Resendify now receives in the United States as well as in nine other countries, so you are no longer choosing between American shopping and European shopping. You get a US address for US stores and, on the same account, addresses in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, the UK, Turkey, Czechia, China and Hong Kong.
Delaware, which is also one of the five US states with no state sales tax. A purchase from a US store delivered to either warehouse avoids state sales tax the same way. Neither address removes the import duty or VAT your destination country charges — that is a separate bill and nobody can waive it for you.
On the freight — the part that actually dominates your bill — we are, and we have the quotes. Both calculators, US to Madrid, 11 September 2026: at 1 kg our cheapest was €46.04 against their €73.32, and on the same carrier (DHL Express) €63.22 against €86.58; at 10 kg on DHL Express, €159.76 against €193.51. Yes, and it is one of the routes this page is about. You get a Delaware address, buy from US stores that don't ship to Spain, and we forward the parcel. One thing to plan for: since Regulation (EU) 2026/382 the old €150 duty-free allowance no longer exists. From 1 July 2026 until 1 July 2028 low-value consignments carry a fixed €3 per article duty in the IOSS / designated-postal lane, with the Common Customs Tariff applying otherwise, and Spanish VAT of 21% applies from the first euro.
Three real things. Their account is free with no monthly fee, so occasional shippers pay nothing to keep it open. Their published free storage window is 45 days. And they have been running a single-country US operation since 2012, which is a simpler machine than a ten-country network. If you only ever buy American and ship rarely, that combination is hard to beat on price.
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Import duty and VAT are set by your destination country and are normally billed on arrival by the carrier. What we can do is quote the freight exactly and document the shipment properly so clearance does not stall on a mismatched declaration.
