What a Chinese address actually unlocks
The China most Brazilian buyers know is the export layer — the curated storefronts built to sell abroad. Behind it sits the domestic internet: Taobao, 1688, Pinduoduo, JD and Poizon, carrying an order of magnitude more product, at the prices Chinese businesses pay. That is where the export sellers themselves source. None of those platforms deliver to Brazil, and most will not even complete a registration without a mainland phone number.
A Chinese receiving address turns all of it into a normal domestic purchase. On 1688 you are buying at wholesale instead of export retail, which is precisely the margin that makes room for Brazilian import tax. On Poizon you reach authenticated sneakers that never appear on export sites. On Taobao you reach the long tail — the specific part, the discontinued model, the niche brand.
