How the collection works
There are two ways to get the item into our hands in Italy. If the seller ships within Italy, they send it to your address at our warehouse like any domestic order. If they will not ship at all, you create the package in your dashboard and schedule our pickup service: someone collects it from the seller on your behalf.
Pickup is an optional service with its own fee, shown before you confirm. Once the item is checked in we photograph it, and from there you decide how it travels.

Big, heavy or fragile items
A chair, a lamp, a box of tiles or a bike are not a problem: we can repack them for an international trip, which is an optional service. When something does not fit a parcel, it can travel on a pallet by air, quoted by a person within 24 business hours from Italy.
Air freight is priced on the greater of the real weight and the volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 6,000), so a large, light item pays for its size. The calculator above gives you the parcel price; the pallets tab is for anything bigger.

US customs for a private buyer
The old US$800 exemption that let small parcels in duty-free was suspended on 29 August 2025, and it covers parcels from Europe too: duty can apply from the first dollar. The US has no federal VAT, so at the border you face customs duty only.
The exact rate depends on the product and has kept changing through 2026, so we do not print a table that would be stale next month. The carrier tells you what is due before delivery.

Check this before you pay the seller
Most things travel without trouble, but a few need a look first. Perfume, aerosols and lithium batteries are dangerous goods: they can fly, with a specialist process that adds time and cost. Some products are restricted by the destination country itself.
If in doubt, ask us before you pay. It costs nothing to check, and it is much easier than finding out when the item is already in our warehouse.
