LEGO's European sites ship within Europe only. Canadian builders can use a Resendify German address to buy lego.com sets at euro prices — including EU-exclusive and earlier-release sets — forwarded to any address in Canada.
LEGO is Danish and made in Europe, so its EU stores set the pace: certain sets are EU-exclusive or arrive in Europe before Canada, and EUR prices are set in the brand's home market rather than translated into Canadian retail. A flagship Technic, Icons or Star Wars set commonly costs less in EUR than the Canadian LEGO price — on a large set the gap can run CAD 50-120 even after forwarding. The catch is weight: big sets are heavy boxes, so forwarding cost matters more than on clothing, and consolidating several sets into one parcel is the smart play. With a Resendify German address you buy on lego.com/en-de like a local and we forward to any Canadian address. Pair it with our H&M and Nike Canada routes and the shipping calculator to size a single shipment. Shipping time from Europe to Canada depends on the carrier and service level you choose. Resendify handles customs declarations and provides door-to-door tracking for all Canadian provinces.
LEGO's German, French and Spanish sites deliver only inside Europe and reject Canadian addresses at checkout, so Canadians can't buy at EUR prices directly.
The same set frequently costs less in EUR in Germany than on the Canadian LEGO site; on large Technic and Icons sets the gap can reach CAD 50-120.
Some sets are EU-market exclusives or release in Europe first, and others sell out in Canada while still in stock in EU countries.
Large LEGO sets are heavy, so shipping one box at a time eats into the saving. Consolidating several sets into one parcel keeps the per-set cost down.

Here is the honest version most forwarders won't tell you. For a parcel coming from the EU, Canada's de minimis is just CAD 20 — both duty and tax. Above that, GST/HST/PST applies to the entire value, not only the part over CAD 20. Watch out for the most common mistake online: the widely-quoted CAD 150 (duty) and CAD 40 (tax) thresholds are NOT for you. Those only apply to courier goods shipped from the US or Mexico under CUSMA, and they do not cover EU parcels — quoting them would badly understate what a Canadian actually pays. The consumption tax is 5% federal GST plus a provincial component, so combined roughly 5%-15% depending on the recipient's province (for example Alberta 5%, Ontario 13%, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador and PEI 15%). The carrier collects this on delivery (the courier CLVS program; Canada Post adds about CAD 9.95 in handling), though some merchants prepay it as DDP. One number to plan around: your EU store price already includes local EU VAT, and shipping through a forwarder to an EU address does not let a private shopper reclaim that VAT (a tourist refund needs a personal export with a customs stamp, which a forwarder can't do). So budget against the EU sticker price, not a tax-free one.
On duty, the good news is that EU-origin goods are 0% under CETA — but only if the EU seller includes a valid CETA origin declaration on the invoice. Without that declaration, standard MFN rates apply (clothing roughly 16-18%, footwear roughly 16-20%, leather roughly 8-11%), while cosmetics and most electronics are largely 0% either way. Because whether you pay 0% or full MFN hinges on a single line on the seller's invoice, a generic "X% on clothes" figure tells you very little about your actual bill. Rather than guess, we estimate your full landed cost — item value, plus shipping, plus estimated duty — before you ship, so you can plan with a realistic estimate. Create your free EU forwarding address, fill your cart at the EU store, and run it through our calculator for the real number before you commit.

Yes. LEGO's EU sites won't ship to Canada, but Resendify gives you a real German address to use at checkout, then forwards your sets to any Canadian address.
Often, yes. EUR prices on Technic, Icons and Star Wars sets regularly beat the Canadian LEGO price; on a large set the saving can be CAD 50-120 even after forwarding.
Toys like LEGO usually carry little or no Canadian import duty, but tax still applies: above Canada's low postal de minimis (around CAD 20 from the EU) you pay 5% GST plus your provincial sales tax or HST. We prepare the paperwork and flag likely charges before forwarding.
LEGO orders reach our warehouse, then forwarding time depends on the carrier and service you choose, with express options available.
LEGO boxes are heavy, so cost is driven by weight and size. A single mid-size set costs more to forward than clothing; consolidating sets is cheaper per item. Use the shipping calculator for an exact quote. Lego Europe Ship shoppers shipping to Canada frequently consolidate 2–4 orders to cut per-kg costs significantly.
Yes, and for heavy LEGO it's the best move. We hold parcels at our German warehouse for up to 60 days so you can combine several sets — or LEGO with other EU purchases — into one shipment to Canada.
