Golden Goose hand-ages every pair of luxury sneakers in Italy's Veneto, and the Italian store holds the deepest size run at clean EUR prices. Get a real Italian address, check out on goldengoose.com/it, and we forward your Super-Stars to any address in Canada.
Every Golden Goose is finished and distressed by hand in Italy, so the worn star, scuffed toe and gold heel tab are unique to your pair. The Italian site lists the icons Canadian shoppers want: the Super-Star low-top, the high-top Mid Star, the basketball-cut Ball Star, plus Purestar and Running Sole. Most pairs sit around EUR 400–550 on goldengoose.com/it, generally better value than Canadian boutique pricing even before currency swings. You pay EU VAT at checkout because the parcel first reaches our Italian address; the real saving is the EUR price versus the Canadian retail markup — and Canadian import taxes are worth budgeting for up front (see the FAQ). Shipping time from Europe to Canada depends on the carrier and service level you choose. Resendify handles customs declarations and provides door-to-door tracking for all Canadian provinces.
goldengoose.com/it only completes checkout to a European address, so a Canadian shipping line stops the order before payment.
Local retailers hold a thin Super-Star and Ball Star selection, while the Italian site has the full EU size run and seasonal colours.
The same hand-distressed pair lands at a notably higher price in Canadian boutiques, and resellers push it higher still.
Some EU-only Golden Goose drops and payment flows won't accept a Canadian billing address — an Italian delivery address clears it.
Resendify gives you a real local address at our warehouses. Shop where the deals are, we collect, repack and forward — you stay in control the whole way.
Pick a warehouse in Spain, Germany, the UK or the US. We assign you a real street address — yours within minutes.
Use your Resendify address at checkout — Amazon DE, Zara, Decathlon, eBay, anywhere. Even sellers that don't ship abroad.
Photos on arrival, optional repacking, and consolidation of multiple orders into one shipment to save up to 70%.
Pick your courier and track door-to-door. Email alerts on every tracking update.
We can receive your packages in multiple strategic countries, giving you access to stores, suppliers and marketplaces that would otherwise be hard to reach internationally.
Here is the honest version most forwarders won't tell you. For a parcel coming from the EU, Canada's de minimis is just CAD 20 — both duty and tax. Above that, GST/HST/PST applies to the entire value, not only the part over CAD 20. Watch out for the most common mistake online: the widely-quoted CAD 150 (duty) and CAD 40 (tax) thresholds are NOT for you. Those only apply to courier goods shipped from the US or Mexico under CUSMA, and they do not cover EU parcels — quoting them would badly understate what a Canadian actually pays. The consumption tax is 5% federal GST plus a provincial component, so combined roughly 5%-15% depending on the recipient's province (for example Alberta 5%, Ontario 13%, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador and PEI 15%). The carrier collects this on delivery (the courier CLVS program; Canada Post adds about CAD 9.95 in handling), though some merchants prepay it as DDP. One number to plan around: your EU store price already includes local EU VAT, and shipping through a forwarder to an EU address does not let a private shopper reclaim that VAT (a tourist refund needs a personal export with a customs stamp, which a forwarder can't do). So budget against the EU sticker price, not a tax-free one.
On duty, the good news is that EU-origin goods are 0% under CETA — but only if the EU seller includes a valid CETA origin declaration on the invoice. Without that declaration, standard MFN rates apply (clothing roughly 16-18%, footwear roughly 16-20%, leather roughly 8-11%), while cosmetics and most electronics are largely 0% either way. Because whether you pay 0% or full MFN hinges on a single line on the seller's invoice, a generic "X% on clothes" figure tells you very little about your actual bill. Rather than guess, we estimate your full landed cost — item value, plus shipping, plus estimated duty — before you ship, so you can plan with a realistic estimate. Create your free EU forwarding address, fill your cart at the EU store, and run it through our calculator for the real number before you commit.

Yes. Resendify gives you a real Italian address for the goldengoose.com/it checkout. Once your pair arrives at our warehouse, we forward it to any Canadian address.
Golden Goose lists EU sizes on the Italian site, and Canada uses US sizing. As a rough guide a US/Canadian men's 9 is around EU 42 and a women's 8 is around EU 38–39. They run roughly true to size; check the product page conversion before you buy and we will verify the box label on arrival.
Plan for it. Canada's postal de minimis is very low (about CAD 20 for goods mailed from the EU), so a pair of Golden Goose around EUR 400–550 will clearly exceed it and is dutiable. Expect 5% GST plus your provincial tax (PST or HST depending on the province), and footwear can attract duty of roughly 18%. We provide accurate customs paperwork and flag the declared value before you ship. For Golden Goose Italy Ship shipments specifically heading to Canada, our team pre-fills the commercial invoice to streamline clearance.
Yes. You buy directly from Golden Goose's official Italian store, so every pair is authentic and aged by hand in Italy — the deliberate scuffing and worn star are part of the design, not damage. Golden Goose Italy Ship items shipped from Italy to Canada can be covered up to declared value — declare accurately at checkout.
After your pair reaches our warehouse, forwarding time depends on the carrier and service you choose, with express options available.
Yes. We hold your boxes for up to 60 days and combine them into one shipment to Canada to save on per-parcel cost. Note that because the Canadian de minimis is so low, taxes apply whether you ship one pair or several — consolidating mainly saves on the shipping line, not the import tax. Golden Goose Italy Ship shoppers shipping to Canada frequently consolidate 2–4 orders to cut per-kg costs significantly.
