How to buy on eBay Europe and ship it to you
eBay's European sites are full of things you won't find at home: Italian vintage, Spanish football shirts, French designer pieces, German tools and car parts — often from private sellers at second-hand prices. The obstacle is delivery. Each seller decides which countries they ship to, and many exclude everything outside their own country.

US import duty on second-hand parcels from Europe (2026)
Since 29 August 2025 the United States has suspended the $800 "de minimis" duty-free allowance for every country of origin — not just China. A parcel forwarded from Europe to the USA is now dutiable regardless of its value, so even a low-value second-hand item goes through a customs entry and can be charged duty.
The United States has no federal VAT, so there is no sales tax collected at the border (your state's use tax may apply after delivery); what you pay is customs duty based on the product's HS code plus the EU "reciprocal" tariff in force at the time.
Buying on eBay adds one twist: many sellers are private individuals or small shops without a commercial invoice. We prepare an accurate customs declaration from the price you actually paid — and because duty is assessed on the price you actually paid, it pays to keep your purchase confirmation. As the importer of record you are responsible for any duty; we make sure the paperwork is clean so your parcel clears smoothly.
